Model
"Employee" means a person who works for an employer in consideration for direct or indirect monetary wages or profits, or a person who volunteers his or her services for an employer. "Employee" does not include a person who is a member of a private club and volunteers his or her time to the club without compensation. |

Section 22. (a)
As used in this section, the following words shall have the following meanings, unless the context requires otherwise:
"Employee", an individual or person who performs a service for compensation for an employer at the employer's workplace, including a contract employee, temporary employee, and independent contractor who performs a service in the employer's workplace for more than a de minimis amount of time.

1. "Employee" means and person who performs any service on a full-time, part-time or contracted basis whether or not the person is denominated an employee, independent contractor or otherwise and whether or not the person is compensated or is a volunteer.
