Considerations Before Getting Started

Before building a logic model, take a moment to read through this list of important considerations:

  • Decide why you are doing a logic model.
     
  • Determine who should participate in developing the model and who should facilitate.
     
  • Decide what level of detail is needed.
     
  • Determine who will use the logic model and how.
     
  • Understand the situation that is the reason for your program.
     
  • Set priorities for tasks.
     
  • Explore what others are doing/have done.
